Users can share rides on personal vehicles within secure/safe groups. Groups have verified members either from a Corporate (where employees share within themselves), Residential Societies (where neighbours are connected like Whatsapp kind groups), Events (where participants/delegates share rides) and their own defined groups.

With RideAlly, users can get instant rides/partners/vehicles, pool using any vehicle (car, bike, SUV), track vehicle in real time, have female only pools, get reward points, get help in case of incident/accident (SOS button), travel on verified/Insured vehicles, track past rides etc.

2.  Ride-Sharing Among Trusted Members

Trusted members can share rides among themselves however they wont be able to share cost keeping in line with Motor Vehicle Act, 1988. Once Govt brings guidelines on carpooling with strangers and cost-sharing on private vehicles, we would provide features to share cost.

3.  Cabs Services at Bengaluru

We provide cabs for Airport (from/to), Outstation (Mysore, Coorg, Ooty, Tirupati, Shravanabelagola etc), point to point rides and Local travels (packages of 4/6/8/12 hrs). We have tied-up with many companies for their daily needs e.g. employee transfers, expats, management travels etc.

We are enabling small/medium scale cab vendors with Software so that they can grow in their locality. Due to cab aggregators apps, small scale vendors are having hard time hence this CMS would help them to stay afloat and even grow.

Yes, Very much! That is the whole purpose of RideAlly. You can get ride by following ways:

1. Users who are looking for partners to share their vehicle, can offer you a seat in their vehicle. Do request a ride in RideAlly. Share your travel plan using "Get Ride" feature and we will suggest various options available.

2. People who are interested in increasing their network, will join you.

3. People like you, who are concerned about environment and wants to reduce traffic, will join you.

4. Just search "Existing Rides" and see if someone has offered a ride with your preferences, you can join that ride.

5. You can provide your specific request and your ride will start appearing in search results and someone may offer you a seat.

At times, on some routes, we may not have enough users however usually, one do get partners if they share with colleagues or neighbors. You may help everyone (including yourself) by referring your friends, neighbors or colleagues to join RideAlly and share their rides.

Do create recurring rides with one click and we would match you with other trusted members. If you have joined your workplace than you may see colleagues who stays near your home and connect with them. 

We would also notify you whenever someone creates ride on your route and you may connect with them to share rides.

You may also broaden your search by checking from other nearby areas or areas on your route and chances are high that you may get someone to share rides.

That’s a cool idea to plan a trip with your friends. Here are many things that you can do :

1. You can create pool and share the link with your friends in Whatsapp or invite them to your pool. Do request your friends to join you, as soon as you accept the request, you and your friends can go.

2. All joined friends will get notification when another friend joins. Notification helps in coordination. If there is any change in plan, you all can interact using chat feature. If there is any change in ride, all friends will be notified.

You can request a ride or join any existing ride however you cannot offer ride (or share vehicle) to anyone.

We are obliged that you wish to travel using RideAlly services. We suggest that you follow our guidelines strictly so that any untoward incident can be avoided. Read all the question-answers on section "Get Ride on Personal Vehicles" as well.

Thank You !! We appreciate your help for offering free rides on your personal vehicle. It will help to reduce traffic, pollution, increase your network and you can have company instead traveling alone. You can share your vehicle only with your colleagues or with trusted members on RideAlly Platform.

Once you have become trusted members on RideAlly, you can share your vehicle with your colleagues, with your neighbors or other trusted members on RideAlly. You may need to register your vehicle first (one time) and you can create the pool. Ride-seekers will search and join you or RideAlly would notify when someone travels on your route.

You can register as many vehicles you wish whether they are owned by you or not. You can make one of the vehicle as default so that you need not to provide vehicle details every time. You can change your default settings any time to share the particular vehicle.

Of course, you can share ride with anyone who is ready to ride on bike. Please remember to carry an extra Helmet for pillion rider and drive safely.

Sorry, the minimum age to offer a ride is 18+, however you can join rides.

If you are traveling to different city and like to go by taxi.

1. Go to "Book Cabs" and choose "Outstation" option. Provide your date/time to travel and what kind of cabs you may need and click on "Confirm" button. 

2. You would get a confirmation message and about 1-2 hours before, you will get driver/cab details. Enjoy the journey.

Payment can be made in cash to the driver or online (using Paytm or other options). In case of cash, we suggest that you keep the exact cash or change to avoid any conflict.

That's great! We welcome you. You need to attach your vehicle by providing vehicle papers, your KYC doucments etc. Our team wil discuss and assess you and enter in an agreement

1. You need to install our Partner app. You will get notification of bookings of your interest.

2. You may show your interest and usually, driver who showed interest first, gets the booking.

You can Book a Taxi by following ways :

1. You can download our Android/iOS app and book a taxi by providing location and selecting your desired taxi from the price chart.

2. You can call our 24/7 customer care number 080 4600 4600 and book any kinds of taxi or even bus.

Once you book a taxi following things will happen:

1. You will get confirmation SMS and Email with your Booking Id and details of the taxi ride.

2. Before 1 hour of start time, you will get an SMS and Email with driver and cab details.

The driver and taxi detail is provided about 1 hour before the scheduled pickup time through Email and SMS.

You can Book a Taxi by following ways :

1. You can download our Android/iOS app and book a taxi by providing location and selecting your desired taxi from the price chart.

2. You can call our 24/7 customer care number 080 4600 4600 and book any kinds of taxi or even bus.

Any online booking would require you to make the booking at least 2 hours prior to pick up time. The actual confirmation is given based on the availability of the taxi .

You can book a taxi  for whatever date you want. In fact, we encourage you to book cab when you book your flight or train ticket etc or the moment you get visibility of your travel.

You can always cancel 2 hours before the travel time without any cancellation charges.

At the moment, you can get cabs at Bengaluru. Soon, we would be offering in other cities.

You can not update the ride once it is booked. However, you can cancel the ride and book a new taxi as per your wish.

You can cancel your booking anytime. For cancellation, Go to My Rides -> Cab Bookings or call 080 4600 4600.

There are no cancellation charges if you cancel your cab before driver is assigned or 2 hours before travel time. If driver is assigned or reached near you than Rs 150 cancellation charges would be levied.

No, there are no night charges for Airport and Local travels however there is driver allowance (Bata) incase of outstation travels. Night driving allowance is also applicable if vehicle is driven between 10 pm to 6 am.

Payment can be done in cash or online via Paytm. Incase, you are paying by cash, we suggest you to keep the exact change, as it will avoid hassles if driver does not have any.

We have strict mechanisms and quality checks to prevent this. In case it happens, please report to us and we shall make an alternate cab arrangement for you on a best effort basis.

RideAlly provides specific page for an exclusive workplace with unique access to employees/staff. Employees/staff can carpool, bikepool and share a cab to the workplace. Employees need to verify their company email-id to join the Corporate. Corporate may have multiple locations hence employees can travel to their specific location on daily basis by making it default location. Employees can sharr rides to any locations of their company whenever they want.

We suggest that you do not travel with strangers but can travel with someone from your workplace (company, factory, office etc) or with whom you can bond (or related to) for some reason.

We have designed special workflow for Workplace where employees can share rides with colleagues only. One can add their workplace or can join the existing workplace. Later, one can invite their colleagues, share rides, get a ride or share vehicle and travel together.

You can join as many workplaces or location of your corporate as you wish to however one location would be default where you travel mostly.

You may login to RideAlly. Choose 'Carpool or Bikepool' option. Click on Workplace icon. Search for your workplace or company name. Search results will be shown and check whether your workplace is already listed or not.

If yes, click on "Join" button and you would be asked to verify your company email-id. Once you verify your company email-id (do check spam or junk folder as well), you can see existing rides or create your own ride in the workplace.

If your workplace is not listed, than, you may request for your workplace by providing company name, location and your company email-id, RideAlly team does basic verification and creates it in max. 2 working days. Incase of any query, do call 080 4600 4600.

Yes, you can add your recurring rides by providing your going time and coming time from your workplace for a week. If you wish to change any particular ride (e.g. time) later, than, you can also do that.

It is not legal to earn or share cost from personal cars. We anyway share our travel with colleagues, friends, relatives etc all the time and RideAlly is just a software/solution to make it easy for you.

We have customized our solution for Workplaces (or Corporates) to ensure that employees do not share cost however they can earn points which are used by company management to reward and recognize employees.

We are totally with you and understand/appreciate personal preferences. We humbly request that you may just share your time to travel 10 minutes before start. Chances are that you may get someone on your route and commuting at same time. This small gesture of sharing would go long way. Even if we get 2 cars or bikes lesser on road that is good contribution to society.

We appreciate that you are doing your bit to environment by coming in public transport. You can really have much better commute at no cost where at least, one side, you always get dropped or picked from your workplace. You can just add your travel time at RideAlly and may be, someone can share their vehicle to you or you can join existing rides. Personal vehicles would provide much better comfort and you need not to travel standing in public transport.

We thank you if you do so always. At times, carpool/bikepool partner goes on leave or work from home or have early morning or late evening meetings and you need to travel alone. If you share travel time in the app than chances are high that you get someone always. Also, you get notifications when someone joins.

Insurance companies usually do not have specific clauses on carpool. During our research, we have found that if personal car/bike is shared without the intention of earning or sharing cost than insurance companies cannot pose any issue. It is just like you travel with your friends, colleagues all the time. Also, you should not share car/bike with total strangers but share it with colleagues. RideAlly is providing exactly that kind of service.

Our research shows that people do travel with more than 80% colleagues however there are specific cases when someone may not like to share personal space. RideAlly has built a workflow where someone needs to accept/reject the request from fellow colleagues and one need NOT to accept requests from such colleagues. If you do not accept requests than they would get the message over time.  

That’s perfect! We wish to provide you exactly that kind of experience. You can very well do so but how do you know who are like-­minded unless you explore to travel with your colleagues atleast once. We suggest that you do share your car/bike at least once and explore. It would be fun to learn from your colleagues and there is high likelihood that you may build long-­lasting relationships with some of them.

That’s totally fine. This is the reason we usually go with Corporates, which have 500+ people at single location. We believe that your timing may match with someone. All, we request is that you be open to share and explore and hopefully, you would get someone exactly at your time.

We understand your predicament hence we built a feature in year 2014 itself, using which females can travel only with females. This feature is only visible to females. We would ensure with company management that no male enters as female in our system within your company workspace. We do multi-­level verification of all of our users to ensure that they do not fake their gender.

Not yet however in future, we may charge monthly subscription from our users which would be very nominal amount to sustain this initiative.
